Wiki Page Incentives

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, I want to work with the group to inquire how you guys would feel about incentives for creating and maintaining team Wiki pages. We have a wiki (found here, or via link on the top navigation bar), but right now it is pretty bare. I know a lot of you guys are busy people, and I don't want to create inherent disadvantages because you don't have as much time to spend on the site. You all have lives and I 100% respect that.

In light of that, the wiki pages still need to be created, so I want to ask you guys what you think what would be the best way to get those pages done. Should there be an incentive to create them? If so, would those be in the form of recruiting points? How many? Should you get more if you work on other teams' pages? Should the incentive be just a forum trophy? Or should everyone just be required to work on their own?

Additionally, we would need to create a standard template/format. Should there be an incentive for someone creating that? Please discuss your thoughts here.

EDIT: There's already a template. See here. Thanks @PoopyRhinoPickle!

If there are to be incentives for things like media and wiki pages I think the best way to handle it might be affinities. Have like an "exposure" affinity where players will prefer teams who maintain an active wiki page or make media or something, as opposed to just raw points which is kind of OP imo.
