[2025] NFL Draft QB Prospect Deep Dive

UC Irvine welcomes a class of three exceptional players to the Anteater family for the upcoming season. Last year, UC Irvine brought in the 23rd best class according to the sSEC Weekly Recruiting Rankings. This year, they currently have the top class in the country. Interestingly, the Anteaters drew from a pool of international players this season, signing players from three different corners of the world. --------------------------------------------------------------- PG Ricardo Munoz (⭐⭐⭐⭐) #67 OVR, #9 PG Mexico Munoz is one of two PGs recruited by Irvine this year. He is a balanced shooter from anywhere on the court and shows patience and discipline on the ball. He rarely turns the ball over and has a knack for finding the right pass at the right time. Despite being above average height for a PG, he lacks the ability to defend inside and needs to put on some weight in order to stand his ground against opposing slasher point guards. He makes up for this with quick hands on the perimeter, however. Opponents should be careful and keep one eye on the ball at all times when setting up plays. SimNBA comparison: PG Arthur Smith, Phoenix Suns --------------------------------------------------------------- PG Duy Johal (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) #4 OVR, #1 PG India While Johal may not be the best finisher at the rim, he possess a deadly pull up jumper. Thanks to his quick speed, he is able to get open in the mid range and bury shots at will inside the arc. Despite his smaller stature at 6'0", expect the India U19 PG to outrebound players taller than him throughout games. As such, he also stands tall in the paint and is above average at defending the interior. SimNBA comparison: PG Brian Mitchell, Chicago Bulls --------------------------------------------------------------- C LandRover Defender (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) England #14 OVR, #3 C Unsure if he was born with his name in mind or named with his birth in mind. LandRover Defender is an absolute tank of a player. With incredible drive, Defender is known for being a literal engine, keeping pace with any opponent and driving them to the point of exhaustion, never tiring. LandRover Defender is above average in almost every part of his game. Shockingly, rebounding is his biggest weakness. Other than that, he has high percentage shooting from range. Defender can drive to the basket, pull up and uturn for a jumper, or brake early and shoot a 3. Good luck trying to get past him on defense. His interior defense is stronger than a windshield smashing bugs on the highway. SimNBA comparison: PF Lazaro Pringle, Vancouver SeaLions jumping over a SimKia

Sorting by SimNBA in the leagues drop down filter on basketball statistics does not appear to work as international league players still show up. Soring only International Super League does appear to work properly. -

Pieces of data we probably want to keep for historical purposes: Position by year (and number of snaps) and by game Years of experience per season (e.g Rookie in 2023, 1 in 2024, 2 in 2025, etc.) Player ID -

Sorting by year on the NFL rosters page appears to be broken. It appears it goes 4, 3, 2, 11, 10, etc. -

Any export, row, or general reference to a player should have that player's ID attached to it to eliminate confusion. It is the only singular unique identifier for every player in the game. -

Exports for any team roster should include the entire name to avoid confusion between similarly named teams (e.g. New York Jets vs New York Giants and Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams). This should apply for the team name columns within the exports as well. -
