Hey all, with the draft coming up soon we wanted to intrdouce new trade rules to help alleviate any confusion moving forward and the constant movement of picks with the confusion with that. New rule: If a pick is attached to a trade in anyway - that pick cannot be included in a in future trade. If picks are traded straight up, they can be traded again. If a trade has a clause where Team A has to give a 2026 pick instead of a 2025 pick, that 2026 pick can't be traded. Any questions feel free to reply or dm us on discord!

It's a cool, breezy, spring day in Berkeley, California. California Golden Bears quarterback Tanner Rodriguez has enjoyed the Bay Area for the past four years of his college career. It's been a whirlwind for him, Touted as the future QB at Cal, his opportunity never presented itself. Then came last season. With the Golden Bears stuck at 4-5 and potentially looking at a lost season, coach Migi turned to Rodriguez in an attempt to spark a fire and save the season. That move, truly did save the season. Rodriguez led Cal to a 3-1 finish, leading them to a 7-6 record and win in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. In that timespan, Rodriguez compiled a statline of 99/154 (64.28%), 898 yards, 5 TD 4 INT to go along with 47 carries 87 rush yards 1 TD. Now, heading into this season as a the guaranteed starter, he feels up to the task, but not comfortable. "I've always had belief in myself," Rodriguez said. "I worked, I was patient, I knew the coaching staff trusted me and I trusted them. I really just had to continue developing my game and really get to the point where I know I can change the game and put this team in positions to win." WIth the latest round of realignment, Cal has seen itself in a whole new beast of the ACC. How the Golden Bears perform remains to be seen. However, Rodriguez has faith and high hopes for the squad moving forward. "This team has the pieces to win," said Rodriguez. "I know the expectations here. We want to make noise in the ACC, we believe that we're one of the best teams in the conference. We've been preparing for the season intensely, wether in the weight room, film room, offseason skill workouts. I think we can get to the ACC championship game, and a shot at the playoffs. Those are the expectations. I believe in my ability, and I believe in my team. Let's do it for the Bay." With a big, pivotal season coming for Cal, at least the Golden Bears know they have a quarterback ready to lead them into lands unknown, and up the proverbial mountain. Exciting things ahead in Berkeley.

In addition to the All-Star Game, this year we will be introducing the Rising Stars Game! Where the young, upcoming stars get to showcase their talents! Unfortunately, we will not be able to do USA vs World, due to a certain admin with an affinity for bread ( @subsequent) losing birth certificates and home addresses for players growing up. So, the format will be like the ASG, with East vs West EAST coached by: @Dash Dustrider Starters: PG: Ralph Jones, Memphis Grizzlies SG: Robert Philby, Atlanta Hawks SF: Matthew Harker, Philadelphia 76ers PF: Scott Munro, Cleveland Cavaliers C: John Mizutani, New York Knicks Reserve: PG: Reginald Speese, Detroit Pistons SG: Michael McFadden, New York Knicks SF: Jess Urbanovsky, New York Knicks PF: Kerry White, Miami Heat C: Darryl Carter, Milwaukee Bucks West coached by: @kwheele Starters: PG: Reginald Lovelace, Phoenix Suns SG: Hyun Xu, Los Angeles Lakers SF: Joseph Swenson, Sacramento Kings PF: Michael Fennell, New Orleans Pelicans C: Franklin Cotto, New Orleans Pelicans Reserves: PG: Dennis Mitchell, New Orleans Pelicans SG: Viktor Raulerson, Phoenix Suns SF: Richard Arther, New Orleans Pelicans PF: Joseph Romeo, San Diego Clippers C: Christian Babcock, Utah Jazz

We need YOUR help to vote for who hosts the all-star game! Vote here! Bids: User: Subsequent Team Name: Vancouver Why you should host the All-Star Game: Vancouver has more letters than Vegas. Teal is a great color. Who does not like sea lions? Vancouver is also a more multicultural city compared to Vegas, safer, and better weather overall. You also get some great views of the ocean. Who actually hates the nature in the Pacific Northwest? Sure as hell beats the desert. Burgers or Hotdogs (yes, this is relevant): Burgers (unless it's a brat) User: Dr_Novella Team Name: Toronto Why should you host the All-Star Gane: Toronto has more letters than Vegas if you take away the Las part, which really, who's calling it The Vegas? But also, less letters than Vancouver, meaning we hit the right middle ground between too many, and too few letters. I would also point out that dinosaurs are way cooler than sea lions. We are the largest city in Canada with a diverse list of attractions and things to see, so what better way to celebrate Canada's role in basketball than to host the All-Star Star game in Toronto? Burgers or hotdogs (yes this is relevant): Burgs User: TuscanSota Team Name: Seattle What's a better way to host the All Star game in a area that isn't the Great White North? How about in a city that the NBA has yet to expand back into. That's right, we're going to Seattle: home to the best fresh seafood in the country, the largest rainforest in the country, and also now has an arena that can host basketball games. That's right, Climate Pledge Arena! What to do when not watching basketball games or hockey games in Climate Pledge Arena? How about sailing along Lake Union or hiking in the Cascade Mountains or watching the god-forsaken UW Huskies playing nearby? There are so many things to do in Seattle that plenty of SimNBA players would love to travel here and experience a part of the Northwest that isn't quite as north as Canada. So would you rather have 30 SimNBA teams get stuck in customs while traveling to Canada? Or would you rather have those 30 SimNBA teams not have to worry about international travel and get stuck in Seattle traffic? Burgers or Hotdogs: Burgers
