dev diary #68 | SimFBA Interface Update: News Page

Hey everyone,

 

Another quick dev diary: I ended up replacing the news modal with a new SimFBA News Page.

 

To access, simply click on the News Button found on the landing page:

 

There, you will be taken to a new page with this current layout:

 

New Features:

- Users are now able to view all news logs from the current season.

- Users are able to filter by news type to look for specific types of news

- Users are able to select the week and filter the news

 

I will work on adding mobile compatibility soon once I have time. Along with that, expect the data structure for the news log to change during the off-season. This will be so that we can provide more information to news including the following:

- The actual week the news took place

- The team's logo, if the news is related to a team.
