2022 NFL draft All-Pro Teams

Recommended Posts

per @SageBow request here's what 1st / 2nd team all-NFL teams look like from the inaugural draft with no access to stats, just overalls:

QB:

1st team: Dekoda Link - Carolina Panthers, draft pick 1.5

70 overall, an actual starter who puts up good stats, he's the clear number 1 here.

2nd team: Yusei Asencio - Buffalo Bills, draft pick 1.29

66 overall. Yusei was a dominant college force but slid in the draft a little bit. Gets the tie-breaker over Rashaan because better stats and better progressions.

RB:

1st team: Bruce Dawson - Los Angeles Rams, draft pick 1.6

69 overall, he's the number one RB and it's not super close

2nd team: James Taylor - Baltimore Ravens, draft pick 2.5

67 overall, close one here as I pick him just edging out Jhan Peters because I feel like it

WR:

1st team: Alex Williams III - Minnesota Vikings, draft pick 1.7

70 overall and the clear #1 WR from this class

2nd team: Andrew Richards - Las Vegas Raiders, draft pick 1.31

69 overall, just edges out Carlos Ramos for second. A big time underrated player and the gamble looks like it's been paying off

TE:

1st team: Luis Van Slyke - Kansas City Chiefs, draft pick 3.9

65 overall, an absolutely atrocious TE class, the 2nd TE off the board is in the 3rd round and he's still not that great an overall

2nd team: Devontae McKinney - Pittsburgh Steelers, draft pick 1.21

64 overall, hasn't lived up to his college glory days but still time

OT:

1st team: Elijhaa Rader - Cincinnati Bengals, draft pick 1.1

74 overall, he's the best pick in this class hands down no question.

2nd team: Marquez Allen - Buffalo Bills, draft pick 1.24

66 overall, just edges out Steven Humphries at WAS, Marquez actually got playing time and reaped the progression rewards

OG:

1st team: Angel Loe - Arizona Cardinals, draft pick 1.12

70 overall, phenomenal player and good value at 12

2nd team: Quincy Wile - Jacksonville Jaguars, draft pick 1.19

69 overall, Great value here as well as he's quite a bit ahead of the rest of the OG field.

C:

1st team: Kyle Dickson - Los Angeles Chargers, draft pick 3.22

62 overall, none of these guys are good but he actually got snaps so he's number 1 here

2nd team: Dustin Woodson-Luster - Minnesota Vikings (from PIT), draft pick 2.12

62 overall, the 2nd rounder has already been traded and at only a 62 in year 3 he doesn't really seem destined for stardom

DT:

1st team: Clinton Gregerson - Baltimore Ravens (From LAR) - draft pick 2.27

65 overall, the clear best DT it didn't stop LAR from sending him to the Ravens already.

2nd team: Duane DePaula - New Orleans Saints, draft pick 2.1

63 overall, he even got rookie starting minutes but a weak DT class I guess (considering he was first off the board too)

DE:

1st team: Michael Dyson - Dallas Cowboys, draft pick 1.28

67 overall, First DE off the board, he's the best one by quite a bit so far

2nd team: Tommy Marimon - Tennessee Titans, draft pick 2.4

65 overall, he was hyped up quite a bit in the pre-draft process before taking a tumble on draft night. Still has gotten some minutes which pushes him over fellow 65'er Carlos Bostick

ILB:

1st team: Jehu Ginn - Chicago Bears, draft pick 1.4

73 overall. Slam dunk win for them. By far the best LB, 3rd best draft pick overall, manning the middle for another decade. superstar in the making

2nd team: Nathan Burke - Los Angeles Chargers, draft pick 1.22

65 overall, Nathan is pretty solid and just edges out Christian Carter. Fine value here

OLB:

1st team: Mark Soto - Philadelphia Eagles, draft pick 1.11

67 overall. By far the only good LB (along with Jehu). Soto was an A draft pick.

2nd team: Patrick Viola - Baltimore Ravens (from DEN), draft pick 2.28

64 overall. Not a gaudy overall number but the clear 2nd best OLB. Another top rookie already dealt by DEN to someone else.

CB:

1st team: Amara Rodriguez - Dallas Cowboys, draft pick 1.15

71 overall, The best progressions in the entire sim from the 3rd CB off the board on draft night. En route to biggest steal of the draft.

2nd team: Kolton hayes - Cleveland Browns, draft pick 1.8

68 overall. First CB off the board and good progressions, just overshadowed a bit by the Amara superstar path. Kolton should be a long term all-pro candidate

FS:

1st team: Matt Perez - Baltimore Ravens, draft pick 1.9

66 overall, got tons of starting minutes, has seemed to be well liked

2nd team: Godwin Johnson - Seattle Seahawks, draft pick 2.26

66 overall, tie-breaker over Bruce Puello because of his draft position. Godwin seems solid too

SS:

1st team: Matt Bass - New York Giants, draft pick 1.23

68 overall. He hasn't gotten as much hype from his team, but Bass was an athletic freak who's progressed well too

2nd team: Ryan Reininger - Philadelphia Eagles, draft pick 2.22

68 overall. You could argue these two in either order, they're basically the same guy. Ryan has gotten a lot more headlines for his play though
