2024 NFL Draft Announcement

Hello SimNFL!

Based on user feedback, the 2024 SimNFL Draft will take place on the weekend of February 23rd-25th at the following times:

Friday the 23rd, 7 PM EST
Round 1: 5 minutes per pick
Round 2: 3 minutes per pick

Saturday the 24th, 1 PM EST
Rounds 3-4: 3 minutes per pick

Sunday the 25th, 1 PM EST
Rounds 5-7: 2 minutes per pick

With these times in place, we should be able to get through all picks in about 4 hours per day. We have spread the rounds out to better accommodate users' schedules/locations and limit the duration of each day's activity. The hope is that users who cannot attend all rounds live will have enough time to communicate with admins & myself about their preferences for any missed picks.

The draft will take place through the interface; the functionality has already been built & is being tested now. Trades can still occur during the draft, with the exception that there will be NO ON THE CLOCK TRADING through the interface. This rule limits potential technical issues and will keep the draft moving forward at a timely pace.
