Mitchell, glad to sit down with you today. You were absolutely dominant on the offensive end last week, scoring 30 points against a ranked Indiana team then lighting up Iowa for 43! How did you do it?

Yeah well I mean I really umm like uh scoring points. And it's umm great when I can do it against losers like Iowa and Indiana and uhh put them in their place. I hate Iowa, and you can print that.

You and your teammate Christopher Merlo were on an absolute tear this week. Both of you teamed up for over 100 points in 2 games. How is your partnership on and off the court?

Well we're roommates. We do everything together.

Nebraska is in great shape for a run in the B1G tournament and March Madness. What is the feeling in the locker room like?

Everybody's just straight vibin' right now, man

What’s your relationship with Coach Alexfall like? He’s become quite a popular figure for Huskers fans

To play for a superbowl winning coach is amazing man - I mean we miss him a practice a ton since he's busy most of 1st semester on Saturdays and Sundays with the football teams, well and also Tuesday and Wednesday when they do install - actually we really only see coach during games, but it's amazing man. When I got here they said 'don't look him directly in the eyes and only speak when he addresses you first' but he's actually really chill. One time he even got my name right.
