Robert Dehn, a five-star cornerback from Oskaloosa, Iowa, has been turning scouts’ heads with his cover skills and football intelligence. The smalltown boy is set to make a big debut on the college scene with his ability to get inside the minds of opposing quarterbacks and break on the ball faster than many receivers.

Dehn had a phenomenal junior year, registering 5 interceptions and 14 pass breakups while adding 22 tackles. While he’s not afraid to mix it up at the line of scrimmage on run defense, he excels in deep cover scenarios. His quick reaction time, coupled with his ability to read and deconstruct an offense, means he is always around the football.

His deep knowledge of the game comes as no surprise to his teammates, who report that Dehn is always on time for classes and can usually be found in the front row. While one lineman anonymously called him “a bit of a brown-noser”, no one denied that his studious nature has had a positive impact on the football field.

This combination of physical and mental factors has made Dehn a big draw for several Midwestern schools, including Purdue, Notre Dame, and Indiana. All these programs have a history of bringing in blue-chip corner talent to run complex zone schemes and would benefit from a player with Dehn’s skillset.

As he enters his senior year, Dehn’s continued success and devotion to football show great promise. His efforts should make him a highly contested recruit and a valuable player in the years to come.
