NASHVILLE — The host Jacksonville Jaguars, the favorite to represent the AFC in the inaugural SimFBA Super Bowl, outlasted the Tennessee Titans in a 34-27 overtime thriller.

Spearheaded by the potent rushing attack led by veteran running back John Knighten’s 23 carries for 210 yards and one touchdown, the Titans offense could not close the deal against the Jaguars.

The passing game of the Titans was very inconsistent with Tennessee quarterback Chad Williams throwing for a respectable 21-34-228 yards - 2 TDs, but also threw 2 interceptions stalling the Titans offense at key moments during the game.

“We don’t know what we don’t know,” quarterback Chad Willaims said of the team’s inconsistent passing attack.. “Tomorrow will get to addressing these issues and will focus on getting the ball more in the hands of (RB) Knighten and (TE) Randy Wright,” Willaims said.

Jacksonville Jaguars Steven Connolly had a spectacular night going 28-42-374 yards and 3 touchdowns and no interceptions.

Tennessee Titans will travel to New Orleans to take on the high-flying Saints offense, while the Jacksonville Jaguars will travel to take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
