NFL Scouts gathering in Lawrence, Kansas got a bit of bad news this afternoon as Adam Schefter tweeted that rumors were spreading that a high-profile player would not be attending the Pro Day, unlike advertised:

That bad news got worse as Schefter continued to look into the rumors and confirmed that it was Senior WR Junior Ogbah:

Schefter gets Ogbah's side of the story, and that story is one we have heard several times the past few years. Some players are concerned about injuring themselves during an event, and Ogbah adds himself to that list:

NFL scouts don't appear to be too happy. It seems many of them were really interested in seeing Ogbah work out, but not attending could really put a dent in his draft stock:

I reached out to KU Football coach @Bundy and asked him what he thought. He was firmly in the camp that Ogbah was hurting his draft prospects by doing so, but there really wasn't anything to do about it. I may have even heard the word "undrafted" during our conversation. Regardless, this certainly calls into question Bundy's ability to speak to his players if one of his stars would risk damaging his professional career against his advice. Will Kansas Football survive?

Doubtful.
