  3. Seems fair - hard to argue with the predictions. I think we lost a couple additional games last season when I was playing Kyle Higbee. Morris' contract was up, so I was trying to determine if Higbee would be ready or if I should re-sign Morris.
  4. My DT Erick Boehringer also had a positive result and went from "A" overall to B+. Could there have been an issue with DTs specifically?
  5. Only fitting that I take ROBERT MORRIS

  10. I created a ticket.. The funny thing is you actually didn't incur 0.5 of dead cap, you actually incurred negative 0.5 of dead cap... Lol so you gained space - either way it'll be addressed soon
  11. So your full issue is that you have .5 million of dead cap from the Berendes trade that you don't think you should have? You've made no other cuts/trades?
  12. Where do you want to see this info
  13. Is this still an issue? Tuscan put out a patch yesterday

  16. Morgantown, WV – Redshirt Junior quarterback Dzanan Reid is entering the 2025 season with high expectations after leading the West Virginia Mountaineers to a memorable 2024 campaign. Reid's stellar performance led to a birth in the college football playoff, highlighted by his 5,018 passing yards, 43 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions, has solidified his status as one of the top quarterbacks in college football. Offseason Dedication Reid has spent the offseason diligently working on his craft, focusing on improving his accuracy and decision-making. He has been putting in countless hours in the weight room and on the practice field, striving to elevate his game to new heights. "I'm always looking for ways to get better," Reid said. "The offseason is a crucial time for me to refine my skills and prepare for the challenges that lie ahead." Reid made a repeat appearance at the Robert Morris Passing Academy - the camp that Pittsburgh Steelers' QB Robert Morris puts on each year for highly touted college quarterbacks. "Last season - we really focused on Reid's foot work - getting it to a repeatable and concise framework. This season we really worked on layering the ball at different levels and those things that contribute to accuracy. " mentioned Morris when asked about Reid's performance in this year's camp. Dzanan has always been blessed with a strong arm, but the accuracy needed to get to the next level is starting to take shape. Building on Success The Mountaineers' success in making the 2024 college football playoffs has created a sense of momentum and excitement within the program. Reid believes that the team's postseason run has instilled a winning mentality and a desire to compete at the highest level. "We had a great season last year, but we're not satisfied," Reid stated. "Our goal is to build on that success and continue to make progress as a team." Expectations for 2025 As Reid enters his Redshirt Junior season, expectations are high for both him and the Mountaineers. He is poised to be a key leader on the team and is expected to put up another impressive statistical performance. "I'm excited about the upcoming season and the opportunity to represent West Virginia," Reid said. "I'm confident in our team and our ability to achieve great things." With his strong arm, intelligence, and work ethic, Dzanan Reid is well-positioned to take his game to another level in 2025 and lead the West Virginia Mountaineers to even greater heights.

  17. Morgantown - West Virginia University coach smackemz has announced the players who have opted to transfer in for the 2025 season. The transfer portal is a new regulation set forth by the simcfb which allows players the opportunity to transfer to another institution and play immediately. When asked about the additions smackemz commented on the haul, "We had a really good team set up for next season, but these transfers help us in areas where we lost long time starters." The Mountaineers are welcoming 5 additions to the roster. Matt Taylor (Sr) Offensive Tackle - A overall (Texas Tech) Taylor was one of the nation's most highly coveted transfers and will immediately step in and protect the blindside for quarterback Dzanan Reid. Rated as one of the top 10 transfers - Taylor is one of the best pass blocking tackles in the nation. West Virginia has spent a lot of recruiting capital on the offensive line, but projected starter Oscar Ray is a redshirt freshman who has not seen any game action. Taylor will not only provide value being one of the best tackles in the nation - it will give Ray a mentor to learn from and prepare to start during his Sophomore campaign. John Heller (Sr) Outside Linebacker - B+ overall (Kansas) Heller, another highly sought after transfer, comes from BigXII rival Kansas and is known for his elite run stopping ability. Heller has proven to be more than adequate in the pass game however; which fits what WVU likes to do with their Left Outside Linebacking position. Traditionally the Mountaineers like their LOLB to focus less on pass rushing and more on stopping the run and not being a liability in coverage - this plays well into their preferred base and Nickel formations and allows Mike Johnson to focus on rushing the passer. Amir Little (Sr) Wide Receiver/Running Back - B+ overall (Charlotte) Amir Little, a surprising under the radar transfer prospect, brings the ability to play both the wide receiver and running back position. Little brings a little bit of what Chad Dolis had brought to the Mountaineers in prior seasons - a general level of flexibility that allows for the player to line up at different areas of the field. Similar to their offensive line situation, the Mountaineers have loaded up on blue chip wide receiver prospects, but generally they are raw and need time before they can be fully relied on to carry an offense. Look for Little to help bridge the gap between the Chad Dolis/Kevin Purcell era and the Geordi LaForge/Matthew Bundick/Graham Schow era. Chris Jones Sr Wide Receiver - B overall (Clemson) Chris Jones, the speedster from Clemson, comes to West Virginia where he will also help to bridge the gap between receiving eras. He brings above average speed and should provide Reid with another reliable short term target. Alfredo Goeddel Sr Wide Receiver - B overall (LSU) Similar to Jones - Goeddel will come in and provide necessary depth for the Mountaineers at the receiver position.

  18. Another solid class for Texas Tech. A powerhouse in the making.
  19. I agree pretty strongly with a lot of what @Bundyis saying here. The current FA period is the 2nd year in a row, where I've placed a bid on a player at the beginning of the period, and 3-4 weeks later he is still in the open state. I understand the thought around providing a sync or 2 to allow for other teams to join the negotiations - but there really needs to be a 2 week limit on how long a FA can have a solo team in them before signing. I would be more inclined to be open to lengthy waiting periods if FA was truly open and I could offer anything I want. This would simulate the player giving time to get the best offers. However, if the player is going to have a minimum value in order to bid (especially ones that are this high) - then the waiting period needs to be considerably shorter. They are already telling me what they want - I'm offering that to them, so there really isn't a reason that shouldn't sign after 2 advances of only having one team. IMO - it would not a fun user experience to be solo on a player for a month and then suddenly be entrenched in a battle.
  20. A nearly 40% difference between Generic 50% Team/Coach, bowl loss, stable and Baylor seems overly harsh imo. It already takes a significant amount of time to rebuild a roster - personally, I'm not a fan of making it that much harder to accomplish. I can't remember exactly what the band was for the original RES formula, but was always sold as not being overly punitive.
  21. Yes. Secondary does not get a bonus or malus from schemes
  22. Minnesota trades: WR Alex Williams III Pittsburgh trades: 2025 2nd round pick 2026 4th round pick. @Bundy
  23. An information button on the Transfer Portal Team Board would be helpful. Right now you have to flip back and forth
  24. 2023 walk-ons should also be able to be cut since they were 0 stars also.
