Scoring was a massive problem for the Hornets last season, ranking 30th in the league in PPG and APG. With Golemac, a proven starter and scorer, at the point, the Hornets' offense will finally be able to match the efficiency of the defense, as the Hornets ranked 8th in PPGA. Byfield's massive height and proficiency in rebounding will do well with a back court that suffered in terms of second-change opportunities and ending opposing drives at the rim, ranking 25th in total rebounds per game last season. Both players would obviously be the first names put in the lineup alongside the talented Todd Patton, making up a fearsome trio that will challenge for more than just a playoff berth.
